The African American Health Disparities Council (AAHD) is hosting a gathering of health care
providers for a free screening of Dr. Nicole Carr’s insightful documentary, High Risk: Black
Mothers Protecting Themselves and their Babies. The AAHD hosts opportunities that bring
together community members, health workers and leaders to discuss issues affecting the wellbeing
of our community. Come be a part of a post-screening discussion among health care
providers on how we can support healthy moms and babies in San Antonio.
Light refreshments will be served.
