MLK March Item Pickup
Couldnt make the orientation? Pick up your MLK March items (t-shirts, parking passes, and credentials) this saturday! Pickup will be on Saturday, January 11, 2025, between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM at the University of the Incarnate Word, Columkille Administration Building (4301 Broadway St @ Burr, San Antonio, TX 78209).

MLK Wreath-Laying Ceremony
The 2025 Wreath-Laying Ceremony featured guest speaker is Ret. Captain Theresa M. Claiborne. Captain Claiborne was the first Black woman pilot in the U.S. Air Force and serves as president of Sisters of the Skies, an "organization of professional Black female pilots who are committed to supporting future Black aviators through mentorship, professional development, outreach and scholarship." The ceremony will be outdoors, so dress appropriately.
38th Annual MLK Citywide Interfaith Worship Service
This year's Interfaith Worship Service features faith leaders from the San Antonio community. Don't miss the 2025 featured speaker, Dr. Melva K. Wallace, President and CEO of HBCU Huston-Tillotson.
MLK Pre-March Early Morning Worship Program
If you're coming to the March, be sure to visit the MLK Pre-March Early Worship Service. Bring a non-perishable food item with you to donate to the San Antonio Food Bank. There will be red collection bins available for your to drop off your items before you march.
MLK March Commemorative Event
The 2025 Commemorative Program will feature a packed line-up of performances and speakers.
If you aren't able to March, come to Pittman-Sullivan Park from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm for the Morning Praise and Worship Program.
At noon, as marchers arrive at the park, the Noon Program begins. This year's keynote speaker is Civil Rights leader Arndrea Waters King. Mrs. King will have copies of her newly released book, "What Is My Legacy?" available for purchase and signing.
Following our Noon Program, the Afternoon Celebration begins with more community performances.
Trinity University MLK Commemorative Lecture
Trinity University will also host its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Lecture. This year’s keynote speaker is the Rev. Dr. Kenneth R. Kemp, who will present a lecture titled "The Living Legacy of Dr. King: Civil Discourse through Civil Disobedience" on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. in Parker Chapel. During the lecture, select members from the Antioch Choir and vocalists from the Trinity University community will provide three musical sections.
